Thank you to all the families that joined us for our meeting on Wednesday night. The student panelists were very thoughtful, and we hope their responses helped with the college process. The New Music Ensemble is presenting their Winter Showcase on January 28th from 1:00-3:00 pm in Little Flower Theater.

Students are performing original songs and compositions that range widely from Jazz to Rock to Pop standards.

To receive a ticket, LaG students can enter a raffle being emailed to them from the school this week.

Those who do not attend LaGuardia may use this link to enter a separate raffle to request a ticket.

You MUST be fully vaccinated to attend the show.

SUMMER STUDY SCHOLARSHIPS FROM ALUMNI & FRIENDS OF LAGUARDIA

The Alumni & Friends of LaGuardia's Summer Study Scholarship application is open! Each year Alumni & Friends of LaGuardia distributes over $50,000 in scholarships to Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshmen with financial need who wish to pursue arts programs and private lessons during the summer. Ongoing Donations

The Music Studio is still accepting donations for the 21-22 school year. (LaGuardia PA Music Studio is a 501(c)(3) organization). As noted at our last meeting, we are well behind last years donation numbers. If you are able, the Music Studio would greatly appreciate your donation.

If making a one time donation isn't feasible, you can set up a recurring monthly donation to the Music Studio (and the PA) through PayPal. To do so, click the Direct Donation link below or follow these instructions:

Log into your MTK account, click on Ways to Give under the Donate & Volunteer drop-down menu, then on the underlined red link Donate to a specific studio (2 places on the page allow you to do that). The PayPal page that appears is auto-filled to make a donation to the General PA, but you can designate the Music Studio by clicking on the drop-down menu. Below that box is the option to make your donation a monthly-recurring one. Or, by leaving that box unchecked, the donation will be a one-time donation.

You can select any amount you like to donate; all contributions gratefully received!
