Message from the Reps

Happy New Year Music Studio families! We truly hope everyone had a relaxing and safe Winter break. We know it is a tough time to be a parent, and a student, and the Music Studio is here for you. We have weekly meetings with the department, and will keep families up to date on any changes. If you have any questions or concerns, you can always email the reps at musicstudioinfo@laguardiahspa.org

With (most of) the Winter concerts behind us, we can now look forward to the Spring shows. There is one Winter show left, New Music Ensemble, currently scheduled for Jan 28 at 7pm.

This month's Music Studio meeting is tbd. We will be announcing the date soon, along with our panel of recent LaG grads to talk about their college experiences (both general and conservatory)

Semi-Annual Concert

LaGuardia Senior Orchestra and Senior Chorus performed two shows Dec 17 and 18 in the Concert Hall. It was such a joyous performance, as many of these students had not performed live in two years. Many thanks to the LaGuardia admin, and families that supported the students so these shows could happen.

Ongoing Donations

The Music Studio is still accepting donations for the 21-22 school year. (LaGuardia PA Music Studio is a 501(c)(3) organization)

You can set up a one-time or recurring monthly donations to the Music Studio (and the PA) through PayPal. To do so, click the Direct Donation link below or follow these instructions:

Log into your MTK account, click on Ways to Give under the Donate & Volunteer drop-down menu, then on the underlined red link Donate to a specific studio (2 places on the page allow you to do that). The PayPal page that appears is auto-filled to make a donation to the General PA, but you can designate the Music Studio by clicking on the drop-down menu. Below that box is the option to make your donation a monthly-recurring one. Or, by leaving that box unchecked, the donation will be a one-time donation.

You can select any amount you like to donate; all contributions gratefully received!

SUMMER STUDY SCHOLARSHIPS FROM ALUMNI & FRIENDS OF LAGUARDIA

The Alumni & Friends of LaGuardia's Summer Study Scholarship application is open! Each year Alumni & Friends of LaGuardia distributes over $50,000 in scholarships to Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshmen with financial need who wish to pursue arts programs and private lessons during the summer.
